An idiot’s utopia (1.5)

An idiot’s utopia (1.5)

I dream of a perfect land;
A land comprised in equal measures
Of order and chaos, love and lust,
Joy and sorrow, humour and depression.
A society of individuals,
Responsible and mature,
But never lacking a reason to laugh.
A land where life is lived to the fullest,
And ambitions are pursued, unhindered.
I dream of a realm under the sun,
Where every human is judged,
Not on his lineage
Or the achievements of his progeny,
But on the basis of the life he lived.
Where actions speak the truth,
And say it louder than words.
A place where no man
Is ever held responsible
For the actions
Of his fellow man,
But each man is his own judge.
A land free of prejudice and imbalance,
Untainted by hypocrisies and lies,
Biases and suspicions.
A world of harmony and sincerity;
Where none strive for perfection
Yet all attain it.

Such a heavenly realm
Is the search of many,
But sadly, none have found it yet.
Still I cherish a hope,
And I will search until I be proved wrong,
Or my days end;
I will search for that paradise,
The utopia of an idiot,
The idea that sprang from my mind.
