Again...
seemingly with no fear,
a song on my lips,
and a puzzled smile on my face,
its down the long road again,
but witherto,i know not.
will it be to ruin and heartbreak,
as it has been till now,
or will it be
the sweet joy of satisfaction?
the promises of happiness abound,
but my fears remain.
they lurk in the shadows,
they question the promises and hopes,
and the interpretation of the signs.
will it be another snow pile,
with more recriminations and super glue?
or will i succeed for the first time,
to the shock of all concerned?
the future will tell, the future will tell,
ask it no questions
and it shall give you no lies.
